Donge La Mombasa Welfare Group is a community based organisation based in Mombasa, Kenya.

 

Our aim is to improve the general welfare of the people of Mombasa and its surrounding coastal communities through networking, community mobilization and volunteerism.

Our vision is to be a facilitator of positive change in the Mombasa area through providing sustainable programs in health, education, and social welfare at a grassroots level.

 

Acting on the premise of ‘Umoja ni nguvu’ (Unity is strength), our vision is to rebuild Mombasa by unifying local residents and Mombasans in the diaspora in targeted community welfare improvement campaigns.​

We organise many diverse community-led philanthropic projects and events throughout the year.
